Usage framework
Terms of use
These terms govern the use of PaySign as a software platform for checkout management, payment collection, document presentation, digital acceptance, signature evidence and related operational records. By accessing or using the website, any public checkout flow or any authenticated area, the user agrees to be bound by these terms.
1. Nature of the service
PaySign provides a technology layer that allows authorized users and tenants to create and manage transaction flows. Depending on configuration, the service may include branded checkout pages, payment method selection, document display, consent capture, signature collection, evidence storage, PDF generation, status updates and operational back-office tools.
2. Eligibility and authority
Users must have the legal capacity and, where applicable, the internal authority to access the platform, administer accounts, submit transaction data, publish documents, trigger payment requests or accept terms on behalf of an organization. Any person acting for an entity represents that they are duly authorized to do so.
3. Permitted use
- Use the service only for lawful, authorized and bona fide business or operational purposes.
- Maintain accurate, current and complete information in all forms, sessions and transaction records.
- Keep credentials confidential and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
- Use documents, branding, payment methods and customer data only where there is a valid legal basis.
4. Prohibited conduct
- Do not upload unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, infringing or fraudulent content.
- Do not attempt to bypass security, interfere with platform integrity or access unauthorized data.
- Do not use the platform to misrepresent offers, amounts, document meaning or payment conditions.
- Do not use automated means to scrape, overload or misuse the service without authorization.
5. Responsibility for transaction content
Each tenant, merchant, workspace user or other authorized operator is solely responsible for the content and legal effect of the transactions it creates through the platform, including amounts, taxes, references, product or service descriptions, customer data, acceptance wording, uploaded documents, legal notices, applicable terms and payment instructions. PaySign does not independently verify the correctness, legality or enforceability of that content.
6. Documents, acceptance, signatures and evidence
The platform may capture acceptance events, signature drawings, timestamps, document snapshots, status changes, IP or device-related technical data and other evidence associated with a flow. Users acknowledge that such records may be generated, stored and presented as part of operational traceability, dispute management, fraud prevention, compliance support or transaction reporting. Users remain responsible for ensuring that the wording, legal structure and intended effect of the underlying document fit their own legal and regulatory context.
7. Payments and external processors
Payment execution may depend on external processors and acquiring partners. Availability of a given method, authorization outcomes, settlements, chargebacks, anti-fraud decisions, payment reversals and processor requirements are not fully controlled by PaySign. Users of the platform must comply with the contractual, operational and compliance rules applicable to the selected processor or provider.
8. Availability, maintenance and change management
Features may change over time and the operator may update, suspend, replace or discontinue parts of the service where required for product evolution, operational continuity, legal compliance, security or third- party dependency reasons. Temporary interruptions, maintenance windows and service limitations may occur.
9. Suspension and termination
Access may be limited, suspended or terminated where reasonably necessary to protect the platform, investigate misuse, comply with law, address payment or fraud risk, respond to security incidents or enforce contractual obligations. Suspension may occur without prior notice where immediate action is justified.
10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The platform is provided on an “as available” and “as configured” basis to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Except where liability cannot legally be excluded, the operator shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, contracts, expected savings or business opportunity arising from use of or inability to use the service.
11. Governing framework
These terms apply together with the legal notice, privacy and data protection policy, cookies policy and any additional commercial, transactional or API terms incorporated into a customer, tenant or merchant relationship. Mandatory local laws may also apply depending on the nature and destination of a given transaction.
